Marine RoadGuard INC. Windshield Protection System

Purpose-Built Protection for the Most Exposed Glass on Your Boat

A transport-focused system designed around fitment, durability, and repeat use.

Patent Pending Windshield Protection System

The Marine RoadGuard Windshield Protection System was developed to address one of the most exposed and vulnerable areas on a trailered boat—the windshield.

Engineered Protection System

A complete protection system for real-world transport

Marine RoadGuard is built as a multi-layer protection system designed to absorb impact, resist pressure, and prevent direct contact with your windshield during highway transport.

Protection is only effective if it stays properly positioned. That’s why Marine RoadGuard is designed as both a protection system and a secure mounting system.

Outer Shell

Marine-grade fabric designed to withstand wind, debris, and repeated exposure during transport.

Impact Absorption

Closed-cell foam helps absorb vibration and shock, reducing stress on the glass.

Structural Support

A rigid HDPE layer distributes force and prevents direct pressure points against the windshield.

Secure Strap System

Eight 2-inch Straps with reinforced anchor points secures the shield in place, maintaining tension and stability during highway transport.

At highway speeds, wind pressure, vibration, and debris create continuous force on your windshield. Marine RoadGuard combines layered protection with a multi-anchor restraint system to help keep the shield stable and properly positioned throughout transport.

Built around patent pending protective and retention architecture.

Standard Shield Sizes

Three standard heights. One maximized width strategy.

The Marine RoadGuard Windshield Protection System is offered in three standard size options. The system is built around height as the primary sizing driver while maintaining a maximized overall width profile. This allows the product to address the most common windshield height ranges while preserving broad front coverage across many center console layouts.

Small

32″ × 60″

Designed for more smaller and compact windshield applications.

Medium

36″ × 60″

Built for many common mid-size center console layouts.

Large

38″ × 60″

Built for larger windshield profiles needing added height and width coverage.

Adaptive Internal Protection System

A standardized outside profile with configurable protection inside.

One of the key design advantages of Marine RoadGuard is that the system does not rely only on its outer dimensions. Internally, it is designed around a configurable protection approach that allows the protective material to be positioned to better match different windshield demands.

While the shield maintains a consistent external width profile, the internal protective structure can be adapted through slotted size options. This creates flexibility across a broader range of windshield shapes and support needs without forcing the customer into an overly complicated ordering process.

In simple terms, the outside of the product stays clean and standardized, while the protective system inside is what allows Marine RoadGuard to better accommodate real-world variation.

Why the Width Matters

The 60-inch width is intentional—not something to worry about.

Height is the easier variable to standardize across many center console boats. Width is where the real challenge begins. Windshields may appear similar at a glance, but differences in console design, frame spread, and surrounding geometry can create meaningful fitment variation.

For that reason, Marine RoadGuard was intentionally developed with a 60-inch maximum width profile. That width is part of the broader strategy to maximize usable coverage across a wide range of center console boats while allowing the internal protective configuration to do the more nuanced adaptation work.

Color Options

Marine RoadGuard is available in black, grey, and navy blue so owners can choose a finish that complements the look of their boat while maintaining a clean, professional appearance during transport.

Built for Transport Conditions

Materials, support, and rigidity all matter.

Marine RoadGuard is constructed using durable, high-quality marine-grade materials selected for repeat transport use. The outer shell is intended to provide a rugged first layer against the conditions a boat faces while being trailered, while the internal build is designed to add structure, support, and impact buffering across the face of the windshield.

This combination is central to how the product performs. Strength and rigidity matter because a transport shield must do more than simply cover a surface. It must help maintain its shape, stay positioned properly, and manage force in a way that better protects the glass behind it.

Marine RoadGuard is being built to strike that balance—substantial enough to perform in transport conditions, yet practical enough to handle, install, remove, and reuse as part of a normal boating routine.

Simple in Use. Serious in Purpose.

Install, tow, remove, repeat.

The system is designed to remain straightforward for the customer. Start by selecting the shield size that best fits your boat, then position the shield over the windshield and secure it using the multi-anchor restraint system for transport. Once installed, Marine RoadGuard is intended to provide added protection while you are on the road and can be removed when you arrive.

That simplicity is important. A product like this should add confidence to transport, not complexity. Marine RoadGuard is designed to become part of the normal trailering routine.

Next Production Run

Reserve your place in the next production run.

Marine RoadGuard is released in controlled production runs to ensure consistent quality, proper fitment, and dependable performance in real-world transport conditions.

Every order is reviewed before production to help ensure the right solution for the boat being protected.

Ordering & Fitment Process

To begin a pre-order or request fitment assistance, please provide your boat year, make, and model. This allows us to review your boat against our existing fitment database and determine the correct shield size and final pricing.

If your boat is already supported in our system, we will respond with the recommended size, final price, and invoice for payment prior to production execution.

If additional fitment review is needed, we will guide you through the next step using our fitment process. If we are not able to build for your boat at this time, we will let you know and follow up once your boat has been added to our system.
